I am so pleased you've decided to find out a little bit more about me. I will share with you a little about my journey to self love and to being a therapist, along with how I work and the therapeutic approaches I use.
It will help give you an idea of my work, methods and what it will be like to work with me- whether you choose 1:1 therapy, the free resources or a self help programme.
You can also get more of a feel about me and my work through my Instagram here and also more of my self love and therapy journey on my podcast here

Up until 2016 I was pretty oblivious to the self destructive and avoidant relationship I had with myself, and how this was affecting my whole life. All I knew then, was that I was constantly anxious; easily irritated to the point of episodes of uncontrollable rage or emotion and I was exhausted.
I worked with a coach, and then a therapist who helped me figure out what was causing my deep anxiety and problematic relationship with me, letting go of the self criticism and self doubt.. so much so, I ended up quitting my corporate career in 2018, followed my heart to become a yoga and mindfulness teacher!
By this point I knew that I wanted to help people on a much deeper level; I also knew that for many , so called 'spiritual practices' weren't enough to help them heal their relationship to 'self', so I became a certified and practising life coach in 2020, and then studying for my Diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling... blending these approaches has allowed me to offer psychospiritual therapy, which is an integrative approach combining psychotherapy with spiritual understanding to offer holistic healing of mind, body, and soul. It addresses mental health struggles by incorporating spiritual growth, existential meaning, and higher consciousness, aiming to help individuals align with their deeper purpose.

One of the most frequent things I hear from people working with me is that early on they feel 'safe' to talk openly; that the unconditional positive regard for them allows them to feel seen and heard, helping them to normalise their experiences, thoughts and emotions, often for the first time.

I like to 'keep it real' in my approach; I mirror your language style (including swear words of that's how you roll) to create a deeper connection and try to use uncomplicated 'non therapy speak' and realistic metaphors to help you on the journey; I don't sugar coat but I am gentle with it too.

I use a mix of therapy, education and practical tools to take away and create positive change in life as it is happening. This helps you progress towards building your courage, confidence and self trust alongside the deeper curiosity, self connection and healing work in session.
